The project was for a young family that needed additional living space on the back of their new build house in Crosby. The family had just had a new baby so it was of paramount importance to provide a design that did not cause too much disruption to the rest of the home. Due to this projects size it fell under Permitted Development and as such did not require any Planning Permission. The existing patio doors and windows were all retained so that the project could be built on the outside of the existing house and as such limited any noise or dust contamination. The design is in keeping with the main house right down to the brick detailing which helps tie it in to its setting and look as though it was always a part of this great looking family home. The final feature is the vaulted ceiling within the space which has allowed for a bank of sky lights creating a bright airy and modern dining room addition to the home.
